About the programme
In 2019 we launched the Temporary Accommodation Purchasing Programme (TAPP) to buy back a limited number of ex Right to Buy 1, 2 & 3 bedroom properties.
The scheme has been very successful, and we have purchased over 133 properties. In addition, we have used funds from this programme to convert one long term empty property into 3 flats, and have facilitated a building conversion providing 24 other units.
In total the TAPP programme will look to provide more than 200 in-borough properties to be used as temporary accommodation for our homeless households.
Our 2023 programme
Due to the success of the original TAPP programme, we are pleased to announce that we have now launched a third TAPP programme for a limited period.
For those leaseholders who are considering selling their properties, this scheme has many advantages:

We are currently looking for predominantly 2 and 3 bedroom properties, although, we may consider large 1 bedroom properties, up to market prices offered, subject to an independent valuation, and any cost of repairs to bring the property up to our required standards.
Essentially we are cash purchasers, we aim to complete on all purchases in 8 to 12 weeks.
How to apply
Purchases under this programme will need to complete by March 2024.
