Libraries Newsletter, reserving books at Swiss Cottage and other news
The latest issues of Our Camden Libraries Newsletter are available here.
Swiss Cottage Library refurbishment
Due to building refurbishment work, Swiss Cottage Library's catalogue and reservation service will not be available until June 2022. Also, from March to June, areas of the building will be closed to public and staff use on a rolling basis. This is to allow contractors to safely replace the library windows and carry out electrical upgrades.
Our apologies for any inconvenience caused.
Open+ is back in our libraries
We are using our Open+ door entry system again at five of our libraries.
This means that you will need to bring your library card and PIN number with you to enter these libraries before 12pm.
The five libraries are:
- Camden Town
- Kentish Town
- Queens Crescent
- West Hampstead
If you don't have a current library card, or you have forgotten your PIN number, please speak to a member of staff.
Changes to our services
All our library services are now back to normal. For any changes, see Changes to the Library service.
We have a range of online videos, including story times, rhyme times, craft sessions and book reviews.
If you're not already a Library member:
Please be aware that services may change again depending on further government announcements.
You can also get a wide selection of e-books, e-newspapers and other digital resources through our Digital Library.
We will be adding to these resources in the future. Check back here for more news.
