About the panel
The Camden Climate Citizen Panel is made up of 15 people who live and work in Camden. It was set up to help review and advise on the progress of Camden’s Climate Action Plan. The panel was created as a direct recommendation of the Citizen’s Assembly on the climate crisis.

Details of panel sessions
The panel’s first cohort was recruited for during the summer of 2020 and came together for their first time in October 2020. The panel met quarterly for two years.
Recruitment for the second cohort (2022-2025) closed in January 2023. The second cohort has now been recruited and will meet three times a year until early 2025.

Year One – 21 November 2023
Members discussed the topic of domestic energy efficiency, including how we can best support residents into retrofitting their properties.
Year One – 07 July 2023
Members learn about Climate Resilience in Camden and discuss what the council’s forthcoming Climate Resilience Plan could include and how to best promote the plan.

Year Two - 12 July 2022
Members reflected on their time on the panel and discussed what the panel should look like going forward.
Year two - 23 March 2022
The panel met to discuss the delivery of Camden's climate comms campaign and the implementation of Safe & Healthy Streets in Camden.
Year two - 14 October 2021
The panel met to discuss the Climate Action Plan Review and prioritise the key areas of focus for panel discussions for Year 2 of the panel.
Year one - 21 July 2021
Reflection session on the first year of the panel and further feedback ahead of the Climate Action Plan annual review. Meetings with re-commence in September 2021.
